Hey Nugget,
Guess what? Today I found out that Mary is pregnant too! Her baby is due just a month before you--in January. I was soooo excited to get that news! Your Auntie Mary and Uncle Michael are awesome people. They helped make our invitations and wedding cake when me and your Daddy got married. They also made us a cake topper for our one year anniversary and a TARDIS birthday cake for Daddy and my birthday last year! They are super creative!
I am really excited, Nugget, that I will be able to share all the experiences, good and scary, with someone else right now. It seems like Mary has already learned so much stuff about what to do when you have a baby in your tummy. Mommy is so far behind already!
Today I made a list of the names I like. I'm probably going to show it to Daddy soon to see what he thinks. Daddy likes to think of exciting names for you, names that have a kind of promise that you will dream big and do great things. I like that too. Daddy and I really want you to do amazing things, little Nugget. I hope you don't feel overwhelmed by our expectations! :)
Well Nugget, I have to get working on my story today. I was lazy and took a nap since I was feeling tired. I'm always feeling tired these days! Still, I want to get my novel finished by the end of this month. Maybe it will be published soon, too. Wouldn't that be an exciting world for you to be born into, Nugget? One where Mommy is a published author? I hope you're proud of me, I'm going to try my best!
Anyway, my tummy is hurting again baby, so I'm going to go. I love you very much and hope you stick around so that me and Auntie Mary can have baby buddies together!!
Love you very much,
Mommy

Tummy Rumbles
My Dear Little Nugget,
So far you are four weeks and three days old, according to the doctor. I don't know how that can be, since you didn't exist until two weeks ago, but who am I to argue with a doctor, huh?
I looked at a video on BabyCenter and they said you were about the size of a sesame seed. That's so small! So you're going to have to tell me-- if you're so tiny, how is that you're making my tummy hurt so much? When I sleep I have to turn around and around to try and make myself comfortable, and I wake up again and again to have to use the bathroom. People say it will only get more uncomfortable as time goes on, when I start getting bigger and you start communicating with me through kicks and punches. It's pretty uncomfortable, but I'm guessing you're worth it.
Little baby nugget, do you think I am complaining about you too much? I'm sorry about that. I only mean to tell you what it feels like to have you inside me, because I didn't know before what that was like before and it surprises me. I thought somehow I would feel you instantly, feel you moving and know you were in there. But do you know what? You're really just a tummyache right now. It's hard to believe you will grow into my baby.
Nugget, do you know what? You're going to have the best family ever when you finally get out of my tummy. I told my family about you yesterday and today, and boy were they all excited! It's hard to know who is more thrilled. You have two Grandmas, Grandma Laura and Grandma Sherry who are especially ecstatic; they have been waiting for you for some time. Your Grandpa Steve told me that "he's been waiting for that phone call forever." Your Aunt Rylee screamed when I told her you were here! She is determined to be the best Auntie you ever had. She already has nicknames picked out for you: CeCe Boo if you're a girl, Puddles if you are a boy. Don't ask about the Puddles thing, she'll have to tell you the story when you're older. Everyone else was excited too-- don't you worry. I wouldn't think it farfetched to say you will be the best loved baby who has ever been born.
My tummy hurts as I am writing this to you, Nugget. What are you doing in there? It is scary sometimes when I get these pains, I hope everything is all right in there. Do you know how scary it is to think about something happening to you? It terrifies me all the time. Each pain, each weird feeling makes me wonder if you are all right. You've only been with me for a short time, but already I know I'd be crushed if you left me. Stay with me. There's lots of good things waiting for you.
Your Daddy is feeling a little anxious, baby. He's never really had a baby around before and he isn't sure what to do. I know he'll be a great Daddy but he'll need a little convincing on the subject. He'll love you as soon as he sees you. I think he is getting excited though. He suggested a Mario level themed bedroom for you. Do you think that would be good? Let me know somehow, okay Nugget?
As for me, I feel like I've loved you all my life, baby. I've definitely always wanted you. I hope you stay safe and warm in there. Please be safe Nugget. I hope I will get to meet you in 8 months.
Your loving Mommy,
Kayla
